“Gabriela perfected her participant observation method through her photographic practice by remaining true to the principles of collaboration with her subjects. Careful observation of the photographs inserted in this work allows us to perceive what would be her method of photography: something that comes close to an ethnography of details that, while describing, uncovers and reveals.” _ Ana Maria Mauad / Mashallah, 2019
